Hey, everyone!

Been a while since I made a progress update on itch.io, so here it goes! I'm pleased to announce that the second to last segment of Beyond The Mist: Beginnings has been completed!!

I only have one last big segment to write—the third and final day in the city! The resolution is fast approaching, all secrets will come to light, and all dangers will be revealed 👀👀👀

It's been a wild ride, writing this story, and I almost can't believe I'm so close to the end!! BtM holds a very special place in my heart, so I can't wait to sink my teeth into this last challenge and do the story justice!

On the art front, all planned background art has been completed! I couldn't be happier with that! My artist works SO FAST, and the quality of their work takes my breath away! They've captured the atmospheric, dark feeling perfectly 😩👌✨

The final scene of the game will feature art that has me squealing like a schoolgirl! Aaaaaaaaa, I can't wait to show everyone! I'm hoping to finish BtM as soon as possible!

I was hoping for a late summer release, but I don't know how realistic that is lol.  I think a more pragmatic estimate would be late 2025. I'm pretty exhausted from the release of TSSW 3, and l don't want to compromise BtM's quality.

On that note! The Soul Stone War 3—another one of my interactive fiction games, the third in a series—has been released! It's set in the same universe as BtM, although the connection isn't instantly obvious 👀👀

In TSSW 3 specifically, you ACTUALLY get some pretty strong indications about who Cy actually is and how they got to BtM's time 🤯😬 IT'S GOOD STUFF!
